Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations as necessary.

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and briefs as required.

• Prepare correspondence for colleagues and clients.

• Perform legal research utilizing Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.

• Draft requests for discovery and responses to discovery.

• Review and analyze documents and materials for production purposes.

• Proactively investigate claims and formulate case handling strategies.

• Provide timely and effective reports to our insurance carrier clients and insured parties.

• Prepare cases for trial or mediation and actively participate in those proceedings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be admitted to practice law in Washington state.

• Requires experience in civil litigation.

• Excellent skills in legal research, writing, and oral communication are essential.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities are required.

• Capability to manage sensitive and time-sensitive matters simultaneously.

• Effective problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects is essential.
