This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Represent the firm in court as necessary.
• Assess new claims submitted to the firm to ensure they meet compliance standards.
• Review and authorize all pleadings prepared for filing with the courts, including complaints and motions.
• Occasionally draft various motions and responses for contested issues.
• Argue contested motions in court and conduct trials and arbitrations.
• Manage both telephonic and written communication with opposing counsel.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests or supervise counterclaims involving BG or the client.
• Juris Doctorate and admission to the Arkansas Bar.
• Additional licenses in BG states are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Collection Master or a similar case file management system is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of staff, judges, opposing counsel, and circuit court clerks.
• Capable of exercising tact, discretion, and courtesy when interacting with court officials, opposing counsel, step-up attorneys, and in-house attorneys.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Must be adept at maintaining timelines, meeting deadlines, keeping accurate records, and being detail-oriented.
