This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Review business, technical, and engineering documents in both digital and printed formats to capture and extract essential data.
• Verify information regarding underground and/or overhead electric system structures, including current components, configurations, and supporting asset-condition documentation.
• Conduct searches and validate data using client platforms such as GIS, SAP, and document repositories.
• Analyze job packages, engineering drawings, and project documentation to ensure alignment with existing system records.
• Enter, manipulate, validate, and format data using Microsoft Excel or Access.
• Perform spreadsheet analyses, summarize findings, and compile reports for client and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain logs and tracking systems for data and documents from collection to delivery.
• Provide project support and handle administrative tasks, including scanning, copying, and managing documents.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in customer service, data management, engineering documentation, or a client-facing role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required; Access preferred).
• Strong preference for experience with GIS and SAP systems.
• Ability to interpret and analyze job packages, engineering documentation, and utility asset records.
• Previous exposure to data management in the electric, gas, or utility industry is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to remain stationary for approximately 50% of the time.
• Capability to operate a computer, scanner, copier, and related office equipment regularly.
• Strong communication skills to exchange accurate project information with staff and clients.
• Ability to move and/or carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without assistance.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
