This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the operational and financial performance of a designated portfolio of solar assets, acting as the primary internal contact for daily asset management.
• Monitor asset-level profit and loss, operating expenses, and budget variance analysis, escalating significant discrepancies along with recommended corrective measures.
• Collaborate with O&M service providers to prioritize and address operational issues and equipment failures promptly, aiming to minimize generation loss and safeguard revenue.
• Evaluate and confirm O&M provider performance against contractual key performance indicators and service level agreements, assisting in formal performance review processes.
• Track plant performance and assess production data to identify trends of underperformance and their underlying causes.
• Aid in managing power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, O&M contracts, and EPC warranty provisions, ensuring compliance with counterparty obligations and preserving contractual rights.
• Oversee warranty claims and equipment defect notifications in collaboration with OEMs and EPC contractors, monitoring resolution timelines and results.
• Prepare and present precise monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards for leadership and external stakeholders, as needed.
• Ensure that assigned assets comply with relevant NERC/FERC regulations, local permitting requirements, environmental obligations, and utility interconnection standards.
• Assist in the commissioning of assets and transitions to commercial operations, coordinating the collection of project documentation, data systems, contracts, and operational handover from development and construction teams.
• Contribute to identifying and assessing asset optimization opportunities, including reducing curtailment, improving availability, and managing O&M costs.
• Maintain precise and current asset records, including site documentation and contract repositories.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, management, and vendors.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Finance is mandatory.
• 1–3 years of pertinent professional experience (preferably in renewable energy).
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, or project coordination is advantageous.
