📋 Description

• Facilitate stakeholder discovery sessions with business partners, proactively identifying automation opportunities, assessing feasibility, and determining which business needs require AI-driven solutions.

• Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) utilizing AI tools, applying judgment to convert ambiguous stakeholder feedback into structured, testable requirements with prioritized recommendations.

• Demonstrate Proof of Concept (POC) presentations to business stakeholders, independently assessing feedback against requirements and advising on solution direction and scope adjustments.

• Oversee the innovation backlog in Azure DevOps, exercising judgment on story prioritization, scope definition, effort estimation, and acceptance criteria to align with ALIGN-scored business priorities.

• Analyze post-production adoption metrics and business outcomes for ongoing innovations, evaluating whether solutions are delivering anticipated value and suggesting corrective measures when targets are not met.

• Take turns performing scrum master duties on a scheduled basis, managing sprint setup, capacity tracking, and weekly reporting.

• Lead team ceremonies during scrum master rotations, including daily standups, iteration reviews, retrospectives, and planning sessions, making real-time facilitation decisions to sustain team productivity.

• Review incoming innovation intake submissions, performing initial feasibility assessments and providing routing and prioritization recommendations using the ALIGN scoring framework.

• Investigate emerging AI tools and industry trends, recommending the adoption of new methodologies and identifying opportunities to enhance team productivity and solution quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology Management, or a related field is required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Minimum of 1 year of business analysis, project management, operations, or consulting experience is required.

• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries.

• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience using AI tools for business purposes (documentation, research, analysis).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to engage stakeholders ranging from frontline staff to senior leadership.

• A keen interest in AI and emerging technologies, along with a readiness to learn and experiment.

• Basic knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, or process improvement concepts.

• Ability to work efficiently in a remote, fast-paced team environment with one-week iteration cycles.

• Familiarity with project management or work tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).

• Comfort in utilizing AI tools to expedite documentation, research, and analysis tasks.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting processes; maintaining productivity when guidance is unclear or evolving.

• Willingness to quickly adjust when priorities change based on business needs or new insights.

• Understanding that exploratory work may involve creating solutions that are ultimately discarded — which is considered part of the process, not a failure.

• Experience in Agile or iterative delivery environments is a plus.

• Exposure to innovation programs, process improvement initiatives, or change management is appreciated.

• Familiarity with banking operations, compliance standards, or financial products is advantageous.
