This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• The Associate Account Manager is tasked with proactively managing and preserving relationships with current customers for ongoing commercial and industrial waste services within a designated territory.
• Engaging in outbound calls and handling inbound communications to maintain business with Republic Services' smaller, less complex commercial and industrial clients.
• Enhancing the penetration level within the existing customer base by promoting the complete range of Republic Services products.
• Acquiring and sustaining a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s services, business lines, pricing models, and offers additional services as needed for assigned existing customers.
• Executing contractual renewals with current customers to prolong the customer relationship and enhance customer profitability when suitable.
• Addressing all cancellation requests in accordance with the established escalation policy.
• Actively communicating with or responding to customers in support of company pricing initiatives.
• Utilizing Salesforce on a daily basis to schedule and document all activities, including calls, meetings, and proposals.
• Responsible for gathering customer emails, minimizing rate restrictions, and managing customer credits.
• Regularly convening with the Sales Manager to assess weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress towards goals, and the status of key customer relationships.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
• 0 - 2 years of customer service experience. (Required)
• Experience in the waste or transportation industry.
