This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Drive the vision and mission for Talent Capability & Learning through innovative learning experiences and services.
• Oversee the direction, alignment, and commitment of teams focused on learning experiences.
• Identify target audiences and align learning services to meet their specific needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of faculty onboarding, training, and development programs.
• Design, implement, and continuously enhance learning experiences utilizing updated curriculum, learning technologies, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with leadership and Provost designees to provide support for adjunct faculty learning.
• Ensure alignment and integration with other Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) learning experiences.
• Execute internal processes that foster coordination and collaboration across various functional teams.
• Oversee the budget assigned for adjunct learning initiatives.
• Establish metrics, assess impact, and promote continuous improvement through Learning Analytics.
• Ensure compliance with IACET standards and manage remediation planning.
• Represent the team in internal partnerships.
• Consistently apply learning theory and design principles.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the development of human and enduring skills.
• Lead university strategies and cross-functional initiatives that align with organizational priorities and business outcomes.
• Utilize approved Artificial Intelligence tools and emerging technologies responsibly.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development/Leadership, Adult Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within learning and development or a related field.
• Proficiency in performance consulting, including the ability to generate new ideas, assess business needs, identify skill gaps, and develop appropriate solutions.
• Experience applying best practices in learning and development to enhance effective learning and learner outcomes.
• In-depth expertise in the learning experience design and development lifecycle, learning science, and instructional technologies.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional and matrixed teams.
• Experience in leading and prioritizing multiple complex initiatives.
• Knowledge of project management and performance consulting practices.
• Capability to leverage data for trend analysis, insights generation, decision-making support, and driving continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with technology and LMS platforms in both online and in-person learning environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the learning and talent development industry.
• Experience in delivering learning experiences that enhance organizational and individual capabilities and performance.
• Ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Experience in adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
• Must reside in and work from one of the designated approved states.
