Assistant Vice President – Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product strategy and long-term roadmap for the H2H Pod, working in close collaboration with the CTO, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

• Lead a group of product managers, offering mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of rigorous product thinking and user-centered design.

• Convert mission priorities and partner requirements into clearly articulated product specifications, OKRs, and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with Engineering leadership to ensure agile, iterative progress in line with roadmap commitments.

• Act as the primary product representative in executive discussions, board presentations, and engagements with federal partners.

• Establish and manage product metrics frameworks to ensure that outcomes are quantifiable and linked to the impact on crisis services.

• Influence vendor and platform assessment decisions in partnership with Enterprise IT and Data leadership.

• Advocate for accessibility, equity, and trauma-informed design principles across all product initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in product management, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior product leadership role (Director, AVP, or VP level) reporting to a Chief or VP-level leader.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

• Significant experience in mission-driven, nonprofit, healthcare, government, or similarly highly regulated settings is strongly preferred.

• A proven track record of managing enterprise-scale digital products that support frontline service providers or vulnerable populations.

• Experience in leading teams and cross-functional initiatives, with accountability for execution, performance management, and alignment with KPIs and strategic goals.

• Strong operational and financial insight, including experience in budget management, data-driven decision-making, and navigating complex, government-adjacent or federally funded environments is preferred.
