
Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Data Center Background

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and tender documentation.
β’ Conduct take-offs and measurements based on drawings and specifications.
β’ Support in administering contracts along with managing variations and payments.
β’ Aid in cost monitoring, budget tracking, and forecasting cash flow.
β’ Assist with the procurement of materials and subcontractors, including conducting price comparisons.
β’ Collaborate with site teams, clients, and consultants.
β’ Identify potential cost risks and explore opportunities for value engineering.
β’ Utilize quantity surveying software to ensure efficient project delivery.
β’ A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
β’ At least two (2) years of experience in cost estimating.
β’ Experience in Data Centres is advantageous!
β’ Proficient in using advanced functions in CostX to generate estimates.
β’ Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
β’ Familiarity with relevant construction technologies and industry trends.
β’ A team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Highly organized and detail-oriented.
β’ Field experience is a bonus.
