This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Oversee and direct multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Cultivate robust relationships with stakeholders and unite the right individuals to foster innovative concepts and solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants throughout the project management lifecycle.
• Ensure that project objectives and targets are achieved while adhering to financial and timeline constraints for various stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate, and address issues related to scheduling, logistics, sequencing, cost, quality, and progress.
• Negotiate claims and modifications to orders.
• Examine project descriptions, drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, contracts, and service proposals.
• Regularly assess construction documents for alignment with project goals, value engineering, and feasibility.
• Create monthly reports, budgets, schedules, presentations, meeting minutes, and insurance tracking logs.
• Review documents generated by internal team members for precision and reporting purposes.
• Assist in quality assurance and project closure activities.
• Strong communication skills across teams and different time zones.
• Proven track record of leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
• Experience in budget tracking and basic financial reporting; familiarity with COUPA is advantageous.
• Proficiency in vendor management and procurement assistance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Awareness of corporate office design standards and requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, project management frameworks, and financial oversight.
• Familiarity with building codes, contract law, and applicable legislation.
• Demonstrated understanding of design, construction, and FF&E processes.
• Proven ability to manage diverse tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in building design, construction, architecture, and/or engineering.
• Prior experience in the Higher Education sector is preferred.
