This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Project Manager in managing daily operations related to social media moderation and community management initiatives.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for moderators, team leads, and contractors across various platforms and communities.
• Aid in overseeing real-time coverage requirements, shift scheduling, and moderator grouping based on engagement patterns and project predictions.
• Monitor Slack and other communication channels to offer immediate support to moderators and escalate issues when necessary.
• Keep detailed records, including schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), escalation logs, and compliance trackers for projects.
• Measure daily performance metrics, productivity statistics, and quality assurance outcomes to enhance project health and insights.
• Assist in upholding the brand's voice, tone, and moderation rules specific to different platforms.
• Actively identify trends, shifts in sentiment, or unusual engagement patterns to inform Project Managers and clients.
• Perform quality assurance reviews and shadowing sessions to evaluate performance and ensure consistency.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in social media moderation, community management, or operational support.
• Strong knowledge of digital communities and platforms such as Reddit, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, and various forums.
• Understanding of moderation techniques, community standards, brand voice, and safety protocols.
• Experience in remote, fast-paced work environments with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities with a focus on detail.
• Proficient in tools like Zendesk, Sprinklr, Asana, Khoros, Trello, or similar (preferred).
