This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Support Program Managers by facilitating all tasks of the GGC Construction Team.
• Spend approximately 45% of the work year in the field, engaging in renovation, scouting, and coaching activities with GGC shelter partners.
• When not working in the field, focus on job design, budgeting, and planning.
• Handle all aspects of permitting, ordering, project logistics, travel logistics, and scheduling.
• Participate in construction tasks, supervise volunteers, and assist in project planning and estimating.
• Aid in project design, logistics, consulting responsibilities, and maintain communication with partners and vendors.
• Possess construction knowledge or demonstrate a willingness to learn construction techniques.
• Exhibit excellent computer skills and a readiness to learn CAD design and computer rendering.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and resourceful individuals are essential.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to meet deadlines in a dynamic, collaborative environment are required.
• A commitment to promoting a diverse, inclusive, and cooperative workplace is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
