This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage supplier payments and oversee payment flows through Xero and Airwallex.
• Process refunds for customers and handle employee expense claims.
• Calculate and remit local host payments, including multi-currency transactions.
• Collaborate with the Operations and Expansion teams while addressing host inquiries.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee credit control activities.
• Assist with revenue accounting tasks, such as calculating commissions, entering cancellation accounting entries, managing deferred revenue, performing true-ups, and reconciling booking systems.
• Aid in month-end procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, and postings for fixed assets.
• Compile departmental expenditure and personnel-cost reporting documents.
• Assist in payroll administration and maintain inputs for PayFit/Xero.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Facilitate audits by organizing working files and addressing auditor inquiries and sample requests.
• Ensure a seamless data flow between booking systems, payment systems, and Xero; identify and report any version-control or data-quality issues.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and a genuine interest in progressing toward comprehensive management accounting responsibilities.
• A broad range of experiences and maturity; specific finance training or exposure is not a strict requirement.
• Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Well-organized, self-driven, with effective time-management abilities.
• Positive demeanor and readiness to assist in various tasks as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to numerical data.
• Team-oriented mindset with regular communication via Slack.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel.
