Assistant Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Prepare a variety of working papers

• Supervise and review the entire accounting cycle

• Execute special projects tailored to specific clients

• Manage designated client files

• Provide support to clients in sectors such as e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, cannabis, mining, and biotechnology

• Deliver financial reporting and accounting assistance to publicly traded companies

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

• Experience in assurance at a public accounting firm

• Capability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues

• Open and effective communication skills

• Strong focus on accuracy and reconciliation

• Excellent organizational abilities

• Competence to perform well under deadline pressure

• Interest in diverse work tasks

• Strong technical skills

• Ability to multitask and manage numerous responsibilities simultaneously

• Eagerness to enhance processes and challenge existing norms

• Highly detail-oriented and meticulous
