Assistant Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the month-end closing process and oversee revenue accounting (ASC 606) for SaaS revenue streams.

• Manage the complete process from billing to collections.

• Assess the existing technology stack and lead migration efforts.

• Explore and implement AI tools effectively.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of progressive experience, beginning with Big 4 audit firms.

• CPA certification is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and the intricacies of recurring revenue models.

• Experience in ERP/Billing migrations is required.

• Strong grasp of AI applications in the finance sector.

• Practical experience in account reconciliation and mentoring junior staff.

• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
