Assistant Buyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manages and oversees the current inventory.

• Responsible for maintaining product costing and customer pricing.

• Conducts research, analysis, and forecasting of current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products, focusing on specific target markets and demographics.

• Builds and sustains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.

• Engages in contract negotiations with wholesalers and suppliers.

• Evaluates financial risks associated with purchases.

• Attends trade shows, product exhibitions, and conferences to stay updated on new products and trends.

• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experienced in cost analysis and proficient in mathematical skills.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

• Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and the legal aspects of purchasing.

• Capable of compiling information and making informed decisions.

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft applications.
