Assistant Account Manager – Boat & Yacht Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address emails and phone inquiries while upholding the One80 service standards.

• Prepare, assess, and manage new business, renewal binders, and policy modifications within assigned authority.

• Ensure that electronic files are organized in accordance with documentation standards and retention policies.

• Maintain a solid understanding of the procedures and guidelines essential for executing daily tasks, generating reports, and fostering relationships with agents and underwriters.

• Develop and sustain professional relationships with colleagues and other experts across organizational boundaries; capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a professional office setting.

• Preferred P&C Insurance licensing in your state of residence, which will be mandatory within 90 days of employment.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

• Proficiency with technology and computer systems/software, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe, with a quick adaptability to proprietary software.

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and navigate seasonal business fluctuations.

• Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong level of accuracy.

• Capability to employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to pinpoint key issues and propose effective solutions.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a talent for meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
