Assistant Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting Producers by managing existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.

• Packages and promotes applications to various carriers to secure quotes.

• Engages in negotiations regarding prices, commissions, and/or coverages with carriers.

• Evaluates policies, identifies gaps, and determines the appropriate level of coverage.

• Oversees the renewal process for policies nearing expiration.

• Reviews client accounting records, addresses accounting inquiries, and rectifies account discrepancies, including collections on overdue accounts.

• May take part in client meetings to assess coverage needs.

• Collects information for applications.

• Crafts presentations and proposals for clients.

• Investigates requests for information from underwriters.

• Composes correspondence for insured clients and/or underwriters.

• Collaborates with the producer or supervisor to discuss and assist in establishing renewal and/or new business marketing strategies.

• Prepares draft templates for certificates for review and approval.

• Analyzes certificate requests to ensure client needs are met.

• Inputs applications and generates letters and other forms of correspondence.

• Binds insurance coverage and creates insurance binders.

• Adheres to agency management system data standards and ensures data integrity by entering and maintaining complete and accurate information.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.

• A valid Insurance License.

• Must continue to fulfill Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
