Assistant Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting Producers in managing existing accounts and pursuing new business opportunities.

• Packages and promotes applications to various insurance carriers to secure quotes;

• Engages in negotiations regarding pricing, commissions, and/or coverage options with carriers;

• Evaluates policies, identifies gaps, and determines the appropriate level of coverage;

• Oversees the renewal process for policies nearing expiration;

• Analyzes client accounting histories, addresses accounting inquiries, and rectifies account discrepancies, including following up on overdue accounts;

• Creates presentations and proposals for clients;

• Collaborates with producers or supervisors to strategize on renewal and/or new business marketing initiatives;

• Binds insurance coverage and prepares the necessary insurance binders;

• Adheres to agency management system data standards and ensures data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.

• Possession of a valid Insurance License.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional customer service skills, including effective telephone and listening capabilities.

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

• Intermediate typing proficiency (30-35 words per minute).

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and encourage teamwork.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
