This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Manages the investment properties assigned to their respective portfolio.
• Conducts site visits to assess the physical conditions and management practices of LIHTC properties.
• Proactively gathers reports and documentation required by various upper and lower tier agreements.
• Develops and executes strategies to navigate obstacles that may hinder timely delivery.
• Identifies partnerships that necessitate Watchlist status and formulates strategies to resolve all pertinent issues.
• Reviews and monitors quarterly operational reports, evaluating Partnership performance against pre-established standards and key indicators.
• Cultivates and sustains relationships with all stakeholders involved.
• Demonstrates market and investment acumen when engaging with partners and investors.
• Provides analytical support to general partners and management companies aimed at enhancing profitability and mitigating risk.
• Offers advisory and support services to promote the improvement and expansion of new business ventures.
• Maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive record of property activities within the RJAHI portfolio management system.
• Underwrites deal modifications proposed by partners, delivering detailed written analyses and recommendations to RJAHI investment committee members and investors.
• Prepares necessary reports for investors and developers.
• Participates in and leads initiatives related to team objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in a related field with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant real estate experience, including physical property site inspections and financial statement analysis.
• MBS or MRE designation is preferred.
• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certification from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
• Completion of the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification from the National Center for Housing Management (NCHM).
