This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Perform inspections of trees near power lines to identify potential hazards.

• Liaise with various stakeholders to communicate the scope of work.

• Create and execute strategies for managing vegetation around power lines.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the safety and reliability of the power grid.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities.

• Possession of a valid Driver License with a clean driving record.

• Completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.

• Capability to identify local tree species, assess defects/diseases, and evaluate growth rates.

• Knowledge of utility infrastructure.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting maps.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to data requirements and technical details.

• Familiarity with electronic devices and systems, including mobile devices, GIS programs, and MS Excel/Word.

• Ability to work in challenging terrain and adverse weather conditions.

• Preferred Qualifications: ISA Certified Arborist.

• Experience in vegetation management and tree inspection activities.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
