Assessment Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and technical staff.

• Execute technical evaluations in collaboration with security engineers.

• Document meeting minutes and maintain project documentation.

• Record security assessment findings using a standardized writing style and methodology.

• Work closely with delivery team members to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve project objectives.

• Ensure timely delivery of quality products and services within the designated hours.

• Build and sustain positive collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Commit to ongoing professional development and pursue industry-specific certifications.

• Enhance interviewing techniques for assessments and improve efficiency in collecting necessary information.

• Prepare deliverables and conduct peer reviews of the outputs from team members.

• Deliver customer-facing professional services and travel to client sites as needed.

• Assist with FedRAMP, PCI, ISO, and various NIST-based assessment activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in professional services.

• More than 2 years of assessment experience utilizing NIST SP 800-53 in cloud environments.

• CYSA+ certification.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 product suite.

• Quick learner of new technologies and concepts.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively at the same time.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of developing and sustaining strong relationships with team members and clients.

• Comfortable in fast-paced team settings.

• Skilled in validating automated evidence pipelines, including querying APIs and interpreting logs.

• Basic scripting knowledge and familiarity with JSON.

• Fundamental understanding of Terraform.

• Advanced technical certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Engineer, or Microsoft Solutions Architect are preferred.
