ASL/BSL – Video Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Become a part of the onsite Welocalize team in the USA as a Video Quality Specialist, specializing in digital video.

• Collaborate on processes related to video editing and quality assurance.

• Address technical playback issues with video and troubleshoot when necessary.

• Work closely with teams to ensure that project objectives and deliverables align with quality standards.

• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders concerning video quality and project schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in American Sign Language or British Sign Language (this is essential).

• A strong passion for digital video along with knowledge of the film and television industry.

• Comprehensive understanding of typical technical challenges encountered in digital video and audio.

• Openness to working in a dynamic, high-volume, and fast-paced environment.

• 2-4 years of experience in the digital video field.

• Capability to take initiative, troubleshoot playback issues, and identify trends to suggest both short-term and long-term solutions.

• Proven ability to respond swiftly and effectively to issues.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with subscription video content services and their product offerings (preferred).

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (preferred).

• Professional or advanced proficiency in any additional language would be a significant plus (optional but advantageous).
