ASL Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide instruction following Berlitz teaching methodologies, emphasizing the objectives, requirements, and interests of students.

• Carry out level evaluations and needs assessments as directed by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

• Engage with individual and group learners at the Learning Center, at designated offsite locations, or online, as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.

• Regularly meet with the Academic Specialist to engage in lesson assessments and coaching plans aimed at enhancing teaching skills and achieving SMART goals.

• Complete training and professional development courses available on the @Berlitz Learning website and/or in-person live sessions as assigned by the Academic Specialist.

• Maintain up-to-date student pedagogical and attendance records.

• Incorporate educational technology into teaching strategies and manage shared teaching resources.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary for effective implementation, as delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or its equivalent.

• Proficient in the languages to be taught.

• Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Availability to work flexible hours.

• Capable of taking initiative and working independently.

• Availability during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
