Asbestos Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of asbestos-related legal cases, from initial client consultations through to trial proceedings, with the mentorship of senior attorneys.

• Conduct depositions, handle discovery processes, draft legal motions, and represent clients in court.

• Work in collaboration with specialists in occupational health, toxicology, and geology to analyze and present persuasive evidence.

• Support settlement discussions with opposing counsel, insurance representatives, and other relevant parties.

• Keep abreast of changes in asbestos-related legislation, scientific advancements, and industry developments.

• Meet with clients to obtain detailed information regarding their asbestos or talc exposure history.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution.

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.

• 1–5 years of experience in asbestos litigation is essential.

• Familiarity with Odyssey E-Filing and/or File&Serve Illinois is preferred.

• Strong ability to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Trial experience is advantageous.
