Asbestos Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Performing comprehensive asbestos surveys in line with HSE guidelines and regulations.

• Detecting and sampling materials that may contain asbestos.

• Accurately documenting survey results using both digital and traditional methods.

• Evaluating the condition and associated risks of identified asbestos materials.

• Delivering clear and concise reports to clients, with recommendations for management or removal strategies.

• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

• Keeping current with asbestos legislation, industry standards, and best practices.

• Following health and safety protocols consistently.

• Effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying, such as P403, P404 certification, or RSPH equivalent.

• Demonstrated experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, preferably in a comparable role or setting.

• Strong understanding of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to accurately document and record survey findings.

• Proficient in computer applications, including experience with survey software and Microsoft Office.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• A valid driving license and a readiness to travel to various sites as needed.
