Artificial Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance solutions in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.

• Create applications utilizing LLMs, RAG, and AI agents to streamline processes and extract insights.

• Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and integrations with enterprise systems.

• Integrate AI solutions with databases, APIs, internal systems, and knowledge repositories.

• Assist in the creation of data pipelines, embeddings, and mechanisms for semantic search.

• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding scalability, security, and engineering best practices.

• Aid in the deployment, monitoring, and continuous enhancement of AI models and applications in production environments.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Data, Engineering, and Business teams to deliver impactful solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.

• Previous involvement in healthcare-related projects.

• Familiarity with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and APIs for generative models.

• Proficient in Python and skilled in developing APIs and backend services.

• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or semantic search technologies.

• Experience with data architecture, pipelines, and cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and software engineering best practices.

• Experience with AI agents and multi-agent systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar is a plus.

• Familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps, observability, and the evaluation of LLM-powered applications is beneficial.

• Understanding of platforms like Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or equivalent is a plus.

• Knowledge of MCP, security, governance, and Responsible AI practices is a plus.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of systems thinking and translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and a commitment to delivering value.
