This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Define, document, and sustain a scalable, modular AI/ML architecture that aligns with the enterprise cloud strategy and CMM product specifications.
• Design and implement comprehensive AI/ML pipelines that encompass data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Incorporate MLOps best practices to facilitate continuous integration, delivery, and management of the machine-learning model lifecycle.
• Ensure that AI/ML workloads are elastic, highly available, and cost-efficient across multiple tenants and regions.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools to provision and manage cloud-based AI/ML infrastructure while adhering to federal compliance and security standards.
• Create and maintain reusable, secure, high-performance AI/ML services and APIs for enterprise applications.
• Execute cloud-based model validation and optimization while promoting responsible AI, fairness, and transparency.
• Keep AI/ML architecture documentation current and update artifacts in accordance with sprint cycles or when alterations occur.
• Support AI/ML metrics, resource utilization, and performance KPIs within technical dashboards and reports.
• Advise teams on the selection and secure integration of third-party ML tools, frameworks, and SaaS solutions.
• Collaborate as part of an agile development team to support the modernization of enterprise-class software applications for the Case Management Modernization Program.
• A BA/BS or equivalent is required; a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• At least 15 years of specialized experience in information systems is required.
• Experience may substitute for a degree: HS diploma with 19+ years, AA/AS with 17+ years, BA/BS with 15+ years, MA/MS with 13+ years, or Doctorate/Ph.D. with 12+ years.
• Demonstrated success in architecting and deploying ML workflows in cloud environments, including AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.
• Practical experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or Keras.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for ML workloads.
• Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX, or Airflow along with CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of federal data governance, security, and privacy standards, including JISF, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP.
• Proficiency in Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with multi-tenant distributed systems and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Must be able to clear a background check to secure a position of Public Trust.
