This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Establish and operate the architecture governance model (ADRs, review forums, acceptance criteria).

• Ensure that architectural decisions are consistent, traceable, and aligned with the business strategy.

• Define, document, and keep updated the development standards: patterns, conventions, approved frameworks, versioning, and repository structure.

• Align guidelines with market trends and the regulatory context of the insurance sector.

• Establish guidelines for the design and implementation of solutions in hybrid environments (AWS + on-premise IBM CP4BA).

• Define integration patterns, deployment strategies, and criteria for deciding what runs in the cloud and what remains on-premise.

• Lead or support PoCs to validate emerging technologies or high-impact architectural decisions before scaling them to production.

• Define applicable security principles and controls for architecture: secret management, network segmentation, zero-trust, container hardening.

• Align with the guidelines of the Information Security area (CISO).

• Establish guidelines for infrastructure design in AWS: VPCs, subnets, IAM, perimeter security.

• Define connectivity patterns with third parties (financial institutions, corporate groups, external providers), considering latency, availability, and regulatory compliance.

• Serve as the technical reference for IBM BAW, ODM, and FileNet/CMIS.

• Ensure consistency in implementation guidelines, versioning of RuleApps, case orchestration (CMMN), and document management across all business domains.

• Work closely with technical leaders from different teams to transfer knowledge and review designs.

• Identify opportunities for component reuse and ensure practical adoption of guidelines.

• Promote continuous reduction of technical debt.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture.

• Proficient in AWS Well-Architected Framework, VPC, IAM, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, EventBridge.

• Familiarity with IBM CP4BA BAW, ODM, FileNet (proven experience desirable).

• Experience with Java / Spring Boot microservices; integration patterns: API REST, events, messaging.

• Knowledge of architecture governance frameworks like TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent.

• Experience in hybrid environments combining on-premise and public cloud in regulated sectors.

• Understanding of OWASP security, zero-trust, encryption, IAM, and network segmentation.

• Experience in the financial or insurance sector in Mexico or LATAM (desirable).
