Armenian to English OPI/VRI Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during a call.

• Have a comprehensive understanding of the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which the interpreter operates, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretation.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language 'Armenian'.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and a tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

• Technical specifications: Minimum Windows 10 operating system, dual-core computer with a 2 GHz processor, and at least 8 GB of RAM.
