This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Assist the District Youth Manager in fulfilling the objectives outlined in the Youth Business Plan.
• Collaborate with Divisions to create and implement high-quality programs that align with the national curriculum, ensuring consistent and exceptional service delivery to youth and the community.
• Promote the youth program to boost youth and adult membership.
• Support and oversee Divisional recruitment activities, including event coordination and recruitment process completion.
• Provide ongoing assistance and mentoring to your Divisions.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure Divisions are compliant with guidelines and St John policy.
• Organize and actively engage in District/Regional youth events and activities.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role focused on developing others.
• A strong team player with a genuine interest in working with young people.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse demographic, including variations in age, culture, and background.
• Capability to prioritize time and workload to meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
• Customer-focused with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Natural talent for innovative thinking and problem-solving.
• Commitment to contribute a minimum of two hours per week to the role.
