This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide leadership and management support for the daily operations and maintenance of government-owned supermarkets (commissaries) located across a vast geographic area.
• Coordinate reimbursable construction, renovations, and repair activities with stores, client approvers, service technicians, and project estimators.
• Ensure services align with each store’s expectations through regular communication and reporting.
• Guarantee that all services are accurately recorded in both JLL and government databases, as required.
• Oversee technicians and subcontractors within the store portfolio.
• Assess technician and subcontractor performance.
• Manage contract compliance and quality control.
• Conduct Engineering and Operations Audits to ensure code compliance related to all maintenance processes and procedures.
• Establish preventive maintenance scheduling intervals and work to maintain, update, and enhance operational efficiency, balancing preventive and reactive maintenance services.
• Analyze equipment downtime impacts and create Emergency Response Action Plans (ERAP) for equipment failures.
• Ensure adherence to proper engineering procedures and standards.
• Develop and implement training methods, materials, and programs related to building operating standards.
• Ensure there is a sufficient inventory of tools and supplies for facility operations.
• Assist management and maintenance staff in navigating local, state, and federal code requirements and their implementation.
• Manage safety compliance and systems training for maintenance staff.
• Ensure all environmental conditions comply with established codes and standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed to achieve clients’ objectives.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within building trades.
• Minimum of five years of service management experience in maintenance programs across multiple locations spanning large geographic areas (250+ square miles).
• Proficient in problem-solving, customer service, communication, planning, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written formats.
• Hands-on technical experience in mechanical, electrical systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC.
