• Oversee a designated territory consisting of OEM-focused sales personnel and iReps to achieve objectives related to volume growth (balanced selling), pricing, quality, margins, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure disciplined and consistent local execution of the OEM strategy and programs while meeting local coverage targets across ABB’s business units and customer requirements.
• Spearhead the implementation of proactive measures to drive sales of systems and services to OEM customers within the assigned geographical area.
• Guarantee that individual business unit sales targets are attained or surpassed, while maximizing net margins to enhance profits in the region.
• Supervise OEM planning and ensure alignment of strategies with the District and US growth objectives.
• Lead the OEM sales team for the Northeast region.
• Cultivate and sustain productive working relationships with OEM customers at all levels.
• Strategize and execute sales plans to optimize market share and margin.
• Conduct and assist the sales team in technical presentations to foster preference for ABB products.
• Launch new products to the existing customer base and identify potential target customers.
• Evaluate performance through annual reviews for all OEM personnel and devise development plans for employees in the region, including technical and professional training.
• Track and monitor OEM conversions, pipeline progression, and product mix within the OEM segment, collaborating closely with the OEM Business Development Managers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related technical field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a technical field with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in Senior OEM Account Management.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with the complete portfolio of products and services, including power distribution one-line and installation products.
• Established knowledge of the electrical industry and ABB products.
• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
