This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary customer – our dealers.
• This position centers on enhancing the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers that align with our goals.
• The Area Sales Manager is responsible for fostering growth by identifying, onboarding, and developing relationships with dealers in their designated local region.
• Building robust relationships with dealers who recognize how our program can contribute to their business growth is crucial for success in this role.
• Present and articulate company products and services to various management levels within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;
• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to these and other assigned accounts;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from phone calls targeting Independent and Franchise dealers;
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors;
• Maintain consistent and effective communication, whether through calls or in-person meetings, with dealer partners regarding current programs;
• Educate dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for expedited contract funding.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is essential.
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a demanding sales role with a demonstrated record of success.
• Excellent presentation skills that are clear and effective.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment scheduling, and sales methodologies.
• Strong computer proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.
• Results-driven: capable of accomplishing tasks in alignment with company objectives.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual in Spanish is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers.
• A valid driver's license is required for this role, as driving is a key function.
