This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and qualify new dealers through phone calls, site visits, auction attendance, and referrals within the designated area.
• Participate in auctions to showcase Kinetic Advantage and facilitate new floorplan applications, activations, and loans.
• Attend meetings of the State Independent Dealer Association.
• Build partnerships with businesses that complement our services and create a referral program.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, dealer applications, activations, and floor-planned units.
• Maintain follow-up procedures and update potential dealer leads and contacts in the database.
• Collaborate with ASMs and DRMs to evaluate target areas and dealers, achieving both market and company objectives.
• Compile and assess new dealer application packages and complete dealer profile forms for underwriting purposes.
• Deliver customer service from the initial dealer contact through to application submission, approval, activation, and onboarding.
• Monitor competitors and their offerings through trade publications, discussions with dealers, and promotional initiatives.
• Relay dealer and market insights to the Regional Vice President of National Sales.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in or with auto dealerships is required.
• Knowledge and experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong skills in presentation and negotiation.
• Ability to cultivate and sustain business relationships.
• Capability to work independently.

• A consultative sales approach is essential.
• Proven track record as a top sales performer with a “hunter mentality.”
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Willingness to ride in vehicles during market visits for extended durations.
• Capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods, exceeding four hours.
• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
