• Present and effectively communicate the company's products and services to all levels of management within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;
• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to these and other assigned accounts;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals that arise from phone calls made to Independent and Franchise dealers;
• Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities;
• Maintain ongoing and effective communication, either through phone calls or in-person meetings, with dealer partners regarding current programs;
• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation required for prompt contract funding.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• High School diploma or equivalent is required;
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred;
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales;
• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is essential;
• 1-2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven track record of success;
• Clear and effective presentation skills;
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities;
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques;
• Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies;
• Results-oriented, ensuring alignment with company objectives;
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting;
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is an advantage;
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers;
• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role, as driving is a key function.
