This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Drive revenue growth in the laboratory sector by enhancing market penetration and promoting Ambry's range of genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Champion the clinical and financial advantages of our products across various levels and locations within hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices.
• Lead and oversee a team comprising 6-8 Account Executives and Senior Account Executives.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored for Account Executives.
• Provide leadership through clear communication of vision, coupled with active coaching and professional development.
• Offer supervision via field visits and direct observations.
• Stay informed on competitive landscape to formulate and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Manage the sales territory, focusing on National Expansion within Major Metropolitan Areas.
• Enhance menu utilization among existing accounts.
• Acquire new customers for genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Negotiate and oversee contracts.
• Launch new testing products.
• Create and implement action plans tailored to specific customers.
• Develop and present engaging presentations.
• Organize and support Trade shows.
• Maintain customer data within the company database.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s of Science Degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals.
• More than 7 years of previous managerial experience in sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
• Experienced in CRM applications, such as Salesforce.com or Microsoft CRM.
• Proven track record of sales success with a diverse portfolio of laboratory testing across various medical specialties.
• Ability to effectively sell technically complex products.
• Expertise in demand creation across a broad geographic area.
• Familiarity with the customer base within the assigned territory is advantageous.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Some formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS.
• Strong skills in time and territory management.
• Willingness to travel, with over 50% of the time spent in a multi-state territory.
