This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and sustain a diverse pool of candidates for drivers, attendants, and other essential staff across various locations.
• Utilize online platforms, community outreach, and face-to-face networking for sourcing candidates.
• Enhance the company's brand visibility within local communities.
• Customize and refine recruiting strategies tailored to the operational area.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute strategic recruiting initiatives.
• Examine recruitment metrics and reports to modify sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Foster relationships with community leaders, educational institutions, and other talent sources.
• Represent the company at job fairs, trade shows, and community events.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to cultivate recruitment partnerships.
• Prepare recruitment reports detailing candidate flow, source effectiveness, and hiring timelines.
• Ensure that recruiting activities adhere to company policies, provincial regulations, and industry standards.
• Partner with Candidate Experience, Training, and Location Manager teams during onboarding.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on targeted recruiting campaigns and promotional materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant recruiting experience or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Strong skills in project management and organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for job fairs, recruiting events, and team support.
• Capacity to travel throughout Western and Central provinces in Canada.
• Access to a vehicle for travel purposes.
• Ability to travel frequently and at short notice based on operational requirements.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience as an Events Coordinator and/or in Campus Recruitment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to devise creative recruitment solutions and enhance processes.
• Proven track record of building an application pipeline with a strong application-to-hire conversion rate.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
