This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Foster customer interaction and enhance sales performance through effective face-to-face engagements within specialized cardiac accounts.
• Establish solid, compliant partnerships with healthcare professionals in cardiology, multidisciplinary care teams, and administrative staff across designated accounts.
• Communicate sanctioned promotional and disease-related messages to promote the appropriate use of Rare Cardiac products.
• Utilize knowledge of the product, disease, and market to discover opportunities, prioritize accounts, and facilitate patient identification and referral pathways.
• Assist with patient access by providing insights on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement assistance, hubs, and co-pay resources, as needed.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands, eliminate access obstacles, and further the objectives of the Rare Cardiac business.
• Employ digital tools and insights to strategize, implement, and enhance activities within the Rare Cardiac territory.
• Bachelor's degree, or an associate's degree with over 8 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) combined with 10+ years of work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following areas: Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing.
• Relevant therapeutic-specific experience with healthcare providers.
• A valid US driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or similar impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify you from employment.
• 3–5 years of experience in specialty sales, preferably in Cardiology or Hospital settings.
• A strong comprehension of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement processes.
• Proven experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts.
• Demonstrated business insight, data-informed decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
• Proficient in digital engagement tools (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom).
• Relocation assistance may be available based on business requirements and/or eligibility criteria.
