This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support and coverage across various regions within a designated Area, prioritizing business needs, territory requirements, absences, and market opportunities.

• Report directly to the Executive Regional Director of Sales and collaborate closely with Regional Directors for the assigned areas.

• Represent Gilead's HIV Prevention portfolio to healthcare providers and key stakeholders effectively.

• Achieve business outcomes through strategic account management, clinical expertise, and a customer-focused approach.

• Develop and implement territory business plans that are in line with Area priorities, client needs, and business goals.

• Establish and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and other stakeholders.

• Enhance patient access and optimize product usage through strategic account planning and customer engagement.

• Meet or exceed sales targets while adapting to evolving market conditions and territory assignments.

• Utilize customer insights, market intelligence, and business analytics to shape territory strategies.

• Provide healthcare providers with clinical, product, and disease-state information.

• Convey complex scientific and clinical information to a diverse range of customer audiences.

• Maintain proficiency in therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment guidelines, and competitive market conditions.

• Deliver compliant, precise, and balanced product and clinical information.

• Collaborate with Medical Scientists, Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Access colleagues, and other cross-functional team members.

• Coordinate account strategies and assist with patient access, acquisition, administration, and operational requirements.

• Share insights and feedback from the field to guide business planning.

• Conduct activities in accordance with Gilead policies, the PhRMA Code, OIG guidelines, and pertinent regulations.

• Accurately and promptly report adverse events, product complaints, and other essential information.

• Document customer interactions and business activities in the required systems.

• Manage resources, budgets, expenses, and administrative obligations within the territory.

• Prioritize tasks amidst changing geographic assignments.

• Support multiple territories and business needs within the Area.

• Seek continuous professional growth and enhance knowledge of commercial, scientific, and healthcare markets.

• Promote inclusion, cultural awareness, belonging, and health equity.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma with nine years of experience, OR an Associate's Degree with seven years of experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with five years of experience, OR a Master's Degree with three years of experience.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, including regular travel within the assigned area and across various regions.

• Anticipate 70-80% travel.

• Fulfillment of applicable onsite visitation requirements for healthcare practitioners, which may involve vaccinations, drug testing, background checks, and other requirements.

• Capability to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• A BA or BS degree is preferred.

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales is preferred.

• Demonstrated selling skills in highly competitive markets.

• Proven and consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales goals, preferably in specialty markets.

• Successful performance and collaborative leadership with account-focused cross-functional local teams.

• Experience in selling injectable physician-administered products.

• Knowledge of the managed care landscape and its effects on business.

• Experience selling a Buy and Bill product with a record of sales success.

• Experience managing a portfolio of multiple products.
