This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Provide field-based support and coverage across various geographies within a designated Area.
• Represent Gilead's HIV Prevention portfolio to healthcare providers and significant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement business plans for the territory.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and essential stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to enhance patient access and maximize product utilization.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets while adapting to evolving market conditions and territory assignments.
• Utilize customer insights, market intelligence, and business analytics to guide territory strategy.
• Provide clinical, product, and disease-state information to healthcare providers.
• Convey complex scientific and clinical information to a diverse range of customer audiences.
• Maintain expertise in therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment guidelines, and competitive market dynamics.
• Deliver compliant, accurate, and balanced product and clinical information.
• Collaborate with Medical Scientists, Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Access colleagues, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate account strategies and support patient access, acquisition, administration, and operational needs.
• Share field insights and customer feedback to aid in business planning.
• Conduct activities in accordance with Gilead policies, the PhRMA Code, OIG guidance, and relevant regulations.
• Accurately and promptly report adverse events, product complaints, and other reportable information.
• Document customer interactions and business activities in required systems.
• Manage territory resources, budgets, expenses, and administrative responsibilities.
• Prioritize activities across shifting geographic assignments.
• Pursue continuous professional growth and development.
• Foster inclusion, belonging, and health equity through respectful and inclusive interactions.
• Report to the Executive Regional Director of Sales and collaborate closely with Regional Directors.
• High School diploma with nine years of experience, OR an Associate's Degree with seven years of experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with five years of experience, OR a Master's Degree with three years of experience.
• Willingness to travel as reasonably required across assigned geographies.
• Anticipate 70-80% travel.
• Fulfillment of applicable healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements, including vaccinations, drug and background screenings, and other prerequisites.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales is preferred.
• Demonstrated selling skills in highly competitive markets are preferred.
• Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, ideally within specialty markets.
• Successful performance and collaborative leadership with account-focused cross-functional local teams.
• Experience selling injectable physician-administered products.
• Familiarity with the managed care landscape.
• Experience selling a Buy and Bill product with proven sales success.
• Experience managing a multi-product portfolio.
• BA or BS degree is preferred.
