Area Director – Philanthropy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Enhance World Vision's mission by cultivating meaningful, long-lasting relationships with significant donors.

• Oversee and coordinate regional fundraising initiatives for the Major Gifts Program.

• Assist in executing the organization's goals and strategies.

• Identify high net worth donors and explore new giving opportunities.

• Utilize existing donor networks to identify potential major gift prospects.

• Build enduring relationships through personalized interactions with assigned donors.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and engage in job-related training programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum eight years).

• At least 5 years of experience in fundraising or sales.

• Proven ability to manage major accounts effectively.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
