This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies and strategic plans to meet the sales targets and objectives of DePuy Synthes.
• Oversee the overall sales strategies, operations, activities, and budgets for the designated region.
• Drive sales initiatives that enhance customer and patient satisfaction while surpassing sales targets.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of products and procedures, clinical excellence, product expertise, and experience in introducing new products.
• Mentor, develop, manage, and engage Regional Managers and Sales Consultants.
• Provide value and direction to the sales team through stakeholder engagement and integrated solutions.
• Observe evolving healthcare market dynamics, including Health Economics, industry trends, customer segmentation, data, and purchasing processes.
• Manage a product portfolio, overseeing sales, growth, income, profitability, assets, and budgets.
• Collaborate with the Area Vice President, Finance, Commercial Operations, SCG, and Corporate Accounts on pricing strategies and go-to-market models.
• Build relationships with key surgeons and capitalize on sales opportunities through learning centers and DePuy Synthes medical device solutions.
• Adhere to all relevant laws and policies while maintaining professionalism, ethical standards, and compliance.
• A BA/BS degree or equivalent is required.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance is preferred.
• An MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant business experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience is necessary.
• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage through periods of change.
• A successful track record in a matrix organizational environment and enterprise-wide decision-making.
• Strong understanding of customers, business intelligence, and industry trends.
• Leadership experience in strategic planning and project management, with documented sales successes.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to use metrics and data to assess performance.
• Proven experience as a Talent Champion in coaching, developing, retaining, acquiring, and nurturing a diverse talent pipeline.
• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capability to deliver impactful sales presentations.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Skills in stakeholder engagement, including the ability to communicate, influence, and provide comprehensive solutions.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% of the time.
