This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies and comprehensive sales plans to accomplish DePuy Synthes sales targets and objectives.
• Exhibit thorough product and procedural knowledge, ensuring clinical and procedural excellence, along with expertise in product and new product introductions.
• Cultivate, mentor, oversee, and engage Regional Managers and Sales Consultants.
• Direct sales initiatives to enhance customer and patient satisfaction while surpassing sales targets.
• Keep abreast of evolving healthcare market dynamics, Health Economics, industry trends, customer segmentation, and purchasing processes.
• Manage a product portfolio, overseeing sales, growth, income targets, gross profits, profitability, assets, and budgets.
• Partner with the Area Vice President, Finance, Commercial Operations, SCG, and Corporate Accounts on go-to-market strategies and pricing models.
• Build relationships with key surgeons and capitalize on sales opportunities through learning centers and DePuy Synthes/J&J Medical Device solutions.
• Adhere to all relevant laws and company policies while upholding professionalism, ethics, and compliance.
• BA/BS degree or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance is preferred.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of applicable business experience is required.
• At least 5 years of management experience is necessary.
• Proven leadership abilities, particularly in leading and managing through change.
• A successful track record in a matrix organizational environment and decision-making with an enterprise mindset.
• Strong comprehension of customers, business intelligence, and industry trends.
• Leadership experience in strategic planning and project management, with documented sales accomplishments.
• Robust business and financial insight, including the ability to utilize metrics and numbers to assess performance.
• Proven success as a Talent Champion in coaching, developing, retaining, acquiring, and nurturing a diverse talent pipeline.
• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and capability to deliver successful sales presentations.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Stakeholder engagement skills, including effective communication, influencing, and providing comprehensive solutions.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% of the time.
• Must reside within or near the current geographical area.
