Area Director I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Create an annual personal growth plan that nurtures a dynamic spiritual life.

• Engage actively in the spiritual activities of the Young Life community.

• Guide teams and individuals in their spiritual growth.

• Oversee, develop, and assess area staff.

• Collaborate with the Regional Director and Committee to establish a vision for reaching "every kid" in the designated area.

• Recruit and train new staff and leaders to form leadership teams that reflect the community.

• Design and execute ongoing plans to enhance Gospel proclamation through camping opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant ministry experience is required.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Proven ability to build relationships with both children and adults.

• A commitment to reaching kids with the Gospel.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to maintain confidentiality.

• Must complete Core Training - Phase One within 36 months of the hire date.

• A college degree is preferred.
