This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct both on-site and virtual consultations to enhance hotel-level execution in areas such as financial performance, guest experience, operations, owner involvement, and adherence to brand standards.
• Act as a reliable advisor to hotel owners, operators, and management companies, facilitating the implementation of the midscale operating model and promoting performance outcomes that align with the brand.
• Utilize performance dashboards, competitive insights, and analytical tools (e.g., CoSTAR, Medallia, Salesforce, Tableau) to pinpoint opportunities and guide decision-making processes.
• Propose and implement strategies aimed at enhancing revenue, guest satisfaction, profitability, and cost efficiency at both property and portfolio levels.
• Ensure the successful execution of recommendations via coaching, follow-up consultations, and ongoing communication with property stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement in metrics related to revenue, profitability, and guest experience.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Commercial Strategy, and other internal teams to align and execute targeted strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, acting as their primary point of contact at Choice Hotels for performance-related matters.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with a preference for experience in midscale or upper-midscale segments.
• A minimum of 10 years in hotel leadership roles, ideally with multi-unit or franchise performance responsibilities.
• Strong skills in analytical thinking, forecasting, and budget management.
• Excellent skills in relationship management, communication, and consultation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and performance measurement tools (e.g., CoSTAR, Medallia, Tableau, Salesforce).
