This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the Area P&L, achieving revenue, profit, and budget objectives.

• Formulate and implement the commercial strategy to enhance profitable growth.

• Direct Regional General Managers to improve operational, financial, and commercial outcomes.

• Advocate for a Safety Always culture while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Propel operational excellence across various sites by instilling best practices, boosting efficiency, and optimizing assets.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Account Management teams to provide outstanding customer experiences.

• Oversee pricing strategy throughout the Area.

• Seek acquisition opportunities, assist in business case development, and integrate newly acquired entities.

• Cultivate high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, succession planning, and talent development.

• Forge relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry stakeholders to shape strategy and achieve results.

• Ensure the efficient deployment of personnel, assets, and capital investments to enhance operational performance and customer service.

• Manage multiple regions, leading hundreds of colleagues and a significant P&L.

• Report to the senior leadership team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior leadership experience managing large, multi-site operational organizations.

• Proven track record in handling a complex business with full P&L responsibility.

• Strong foundation in operations or commercial leadership, with experience in both areas.

• Demonstrated success in achieving profitable revenue and profit growth.

• Background in leading logistics, transport, industrial, manufacturing, or other operations-heavy businesses.

• Capability to develop and implement strategic business plans.

• Experience in leading organizational change and fostering continuous improvement.

• Strong financial, analytical, and commercial decision-making abilities.

• Exceptional leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

• Collaborative leadership approach with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
