This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Leader, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives and strategies of the sales team.
• Establish trusted relationships with healthcare providers by offering expert insights and ensuring they have the necessary tools to initiate patients on suitable therapies.
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with targeted healthcare professionals (HCPs) to increase awareness of the assigned therapeutic area, including the safety and efficacy of Acadia’s products.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages that equip HCPs with resources to facilitate meaningful patient discussions.
• Foster and maintain strong connections with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and relevant stakeholders within your territory.
• Evaluate sales potential and optimize outreach efforts to maximize results while adhering to budget and compliance guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align strategies and provide exceptional support to patients and providers.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in life sciences.
• A minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 1 year in specialty sales, particularly in rare diseases.
• Preferred experience in specialty sales, including rare diseases, CNS/neurology, or pediatric neurology, along with familiarity with specialty distribution and access.
• Advanced selling and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with KOLs, Centers of Excellence, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Applicants must reside within the territory, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel extensively, including overnight stays and air travel.
