Architecture Discipline Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide technical direction for an architectural specialty

• Implement architectural principles and practices across diverse assignments and related domains

• Make independent choices regarding technical challenges and methodologies

• Address significant technical inquiries

• Organize and coordinate work efforts

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of architects

• Promote collaboration, creativity, accountability, and professional development

• Oversee project performance and proactively manage risks and challenges

• Ensure project efficiency and client satisfaction

• Supervise quality management processes and guarantee technical excellence

• Engage in interesting and challenging projects for a diverse range of clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of education/experience

• Professional licensure in the field of study

• Preferred 15+ years of experience at a large architectural firm, including 5+ years in project management and leadership

• Experience in one or more specialized sectors: workplace, federal, higher education, or healthcare

• Familiarity with multiple delivery methods: DB, DBB

• Detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized

• Strong time management skills

• Experience in supporting proposals, pursuits, and client interviews

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver projects in a fast-paced setting

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities

• Experience contributing to thought leadership through panels, presentations, or publications
