Architectural Sheet Metal Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create detailed estimates for architectural cladding, façade systems, insulated metal panels, ACMs, rain screens, and associated exterior envelope scopes.

• Develop thorough cost breakdowns encompassing labor, materials, equipment, fabrication, risk, and job cost reporting.

• Review drawings, specifications, structural details, and manufacturer requirements to ensure precision and compliance.

• Provide value engineering and pricing strategies that align with client requirements, code regulations, backlog, and available resources.

• Conduct site assessments, risk analysis, and engage in pre-bid, post-bid, and client technical discussions.

• Keep up-to-date with current market pricing and negotiate with suppliers, fabricators, and manufacturers.

• Compile proposals, submittals, manufacturer documentation, and assist with estimating needs across branches.

• Facilitate project execution through PM handoff meetings, job reviews, operational enhancements, networking, and necessary internal meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience estimating architectural cladding, façade systems, or building envelope projects (required).

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally in exterior envelope assemblies.

• Preferred experience with ACM, IMP, metal panels, and rain screen assemblies.

• General construction and sales experience is preferred.

• OSHA 10 certification is required.
